⚓ BATELA Return & Warranty Policy
Returns
We want every order to feel like smooth sailing. If your purchase isn’t quite the right fit, you may return it within 10 days of delivery.
· Items must be in original condition—unworn/unused, with tags and packaging intact.
· Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.
· Once your return docks back at our warehouse and is inspected, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
· Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged item, etc.).
(By posting these terms here, we’re keeping everything above board and compliant with U.S. law, making sure our return and warranty policy is clearly charted for all customers.)
Exchanges
We don’t currently offer direct exchanges. If you need another size, color, or style, please return your item for a refund and place a new order—smooth seas guaranteed.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please send us a message within 10 days of delivery with your order number and photos. Our crew will set a course for a replacement or refund at no additional cost.
Warranty
All BATELA raincoats come with a full legal warranty of two years from the date of delivery, covering material defects or manufacturing faults.
If a product develops a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, our warranty ensures the item will be repaired at no cost to you. If repair isn’t possible, we’ll replace it with a new one; and if that item is no longer in stock, we’ll refund the amount paid—keeping your shopping experience smooth sailing.
The warranty does not cover:
· Accidental damage
· Improper care or negligence
· Incorrect washing
· Normal wear and tear
· Natural fading of fabrics and colors
At this time, we are unable to repair products that are not covered by our warranty.
Warranty Use Depending on Where You Purchased the Product
● From Our Online Store
All raincoats purchased at www.batelausa.com come with a two-year warranty.
If you would like to make a warranty claim for a BATELA product, please email us at captain@batelausa.com with the following information:
· Photos showing the defect on the item
· Your order number or the name used to place the order
● From Another Retailer (Online or Physical Store)
For products purchased at multi-brand stores that carry BATELA items, the two-year warranty still applies.
When making a purchase, you agree to the return policy of that specific store. Any exchanges or returns must be managed directly with that retailer. Please contact the store where you made your purchase to find out how to proceed.
Remember, it is essential to present the original proof of purchase (receipt).
